Early in his career, Patrick spent nearly a decade as a prosecutor in Baltimore, Maryland. As a prosecutor, he tried hundreds of cases and lead dozens of multi-agency investigations and takedowns. Patrick became a sought-after trainer of trial techniques and continues to teach attorneys on all aspects of trial advocacy. His reputation within the defense bar, on the bench, and among fellow prosecutors as a tenacious but fair courtroom advocate, combined with his natural leadership abilities, led to his promotion as one of the youngest division chiefs in the nearly 170-year history of the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. As Chief of Narcotics, Patrick managed one of the highest volume felony trial units in the country while directing the office’s evolving approach to drug prosecutions for non-violent offenders. As a seasoned litigator, Patrick’s uncanny ability to connect with clients, frame important legal issues, and exploit weaknesses of the other side help him to deliver fast and favorable results for his clients.
In addition, Patrick has closed over one-billion dollars in commercial real estate transactions and offers clients in this industry the knowledge and experience needed to seamlessly complete complicated transactions. He has provided results for clients in the acquisition, sale, financing, and transfer of multi-family housing properties across thirty-four states and the District of Columbia.
